Jeffrey Foote

 

Jeff has more than 35 years of experience in environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, goal setting, measurement and reporting, program development and consulting. Areas of expertise include assessing ESG risks and opportunities; developing brand social purpose; B-Corp Impact Assessments; circular economy; clean-technology; deforestation; energy efficiency; litter abatement; sustainable refrigeration; venture capital investments; and water stewardship.

AFFILIATIONS: Jeff serves as President of Footeprints Resourcefulness Consultants. Clients include BioSure North America; The Coca-Cola Company; Monster Energy; TreeZero Paper.

RESULTS: During his 20 years at The Coca-Cola Company, Jeff was co-author of the company’s vending machine and cooler environmental policy – leading to phase-out of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC); reduced energy use by 40-50%. Policy eliminated 75% of direct greenhouse gas emissions by transition to HFC-free insulation for new equipment. 5 million HFC-free coolers and vending machines have been introduced since the program began.

Developed $70 million Clean Tech Venture Capital Practice; developed training videos; delivered new employee training. Managed two career development, leadership and team work trainings for international associates to Antarctica.

Provided sustainability consulting to 120 Coca-Cola customer teams and international customers ranging from Walmart, 7-Eleven; Burger King, Chick-fil-A to Starwood Hotels.

Brand social purpose development: BioSure, Costa Coffee, Dasani water, Dogadan Tea, Monster Energy, TreeZero.

Developed circular economy strategy; managed lifecycle assessments and executed carbon neutrality strategy. Assisted with development of participation in Reducing Emission from Deforestation and Degradation REDD+ project managed by Wildlife Works.

Education - BA degree in Political Science and a second major in History from The State University of New York College at Fredonia.
