Meet the Team

Keith Eckert

 

Keith Eckert is a Navy veteran, endurance athlete, and humanitarian aid worker with a passion for overcoming challenges and embracing growth. A 2014 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Keith’s career and personal journey have been shaped by resilience, service, and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

After his discharge from the Navy in 2016, Keith found a new purpose in ultra endurance racing and fundraising for causes close to his heart. Through these efforts, he has raised nearly $400,000 for nonprofit organizations supporting veterans and first responders

Keith has completed multiple ultramarathons, including 50k’s, 50 milers, 100 milers, and 200 mile races, and has two Iditarod Trail Invitational finishes, a 350 mile winter trek through the Alaskan wilderness with no set course. He also completed the coast to coast Race Across America bicycle race. His latest endurance challenge came when he rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. His team endured 46 days of all types of conditions to journey from them Canary Islands to Antigua.

Through his experiences in humanitarian disaster response and serving with the Peace Corps in Dominica, Keith has seen firsthand the impact of habits on mental health, success, an community resilience. Working alongside organizations in the Caribbean and beyond.

A graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Keith applies lessons of perseverance, preparation, and leadership to all areas of his life. He earned a Master’s in International Affairs and Leadership from Arizona State University and will begin ASU’s full time MBA program as a member of the Class of 2027 this fall.
